I have had the same facebook profile picture for three years – yup, that’s right: THREE YEARS!! Me, black and white, playing my guitar. So I decided to change it. I uploaded a very similar picture, in fact I suppose you could say that it’s just an updated version of the old one. Nonetheless, it generated some attention amongst my friends (and when I say friends I only refer to two of them). Thinking that they’d have their own take on my profile pic, they uploaded similar type images as their profile pictures – both girls in a black and white photo, playing the guitar.

And this got me thinking... What if we could have a little fun with facebook and the whole “profile picture”?! So I decided to start a movement: The “We Love Branka Because She Is Awesome” Movement.

Basically, I invited all of my friends to upload a black and white picture of themselves playing the guitar. What they would have to do is tag me in the picture, and in return, I would put up all of their photos here with a link to whatever site they wish (so long as it is not pornographic or offensive). Let’s just say that I’m experimenting with fun, social media and networking. It’s starting to take off and when we’re done, all the results of the experiment... I mean movement... Will be available :))
